Joannah graduated from RADA in 2007 where favourite roles included Lady Touchwood in The Double Dealer, and Sandra in Touched.

Theatre for Scary Little Girls includes; The Kisses, Dark Fancies, and How do I love thee.  Other theatre includes: Wives as they were Maids as the are, He’s much to Blame, and rehearsed reading s of The Heir at Law, The Mogul Tale, St Patrick’s Day, The Times and Duplicity all for the Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds. Hero/Leonato in Much Ado about Nothing for Actors for the London Stage (US tour), and a recent workshop of Liquorice and Smoke Rings for Red Handed Theatre Company in conjunction with Out of Joint.

She was a winner of the 2007 Carleton Hobbs Award for BBC Radio which resulted in 5 months on the BBC Radio Drama Company playing roles including Lena in Dr Zhivago, Edwina Little in Fortunes of War, Amy in Callisto, Kate in Slipstream, and Harriet in Suing Mr Spargo. She returns regularly to BBC radio, recent roles include Ann Welch in The Deep Blue Sea for Radio 3 and Zadie in It Says on the Tin for Radio 4. She has just recorded the role of Lucy in Too Much Information a new comedy series which will air on BBC Radio 4 this autumn.
