Breckland Book Festival kicks off with a very special event, in which celebrated author Louis de Bernières will read from his new collection of verse, Imagining Alexandria: Poems in Memory of CP Cavafy, accompanying his poems on flute, mandolin, clarinet and guitar.

Scary Little Girls will join Louis by reading extracts from their Story Smiths show, which they will be performing in full during the festival: click here for the programme.
