• Scary Little Girls are a delight to work with, real crowd pleasers.  Mother Mae I is engaging and comic, full of vivacious guests and rapier wit, and with a compere who is brilliant, spontaneous, innovative and fun – this show is the new red wedge for the austerity era!

Liskerrett Comunity Centre

Liskerrett Community Cinema is celebrating 10 years of film screenings!

To celebrate, why not join us and Rebecca Mordan from Scary Little Girls for an intimate evening featuring one of the stars of the Golden Age of Cinema – Mae West.

Discover how Mae pushed the boundaries of film and life!

Celebrate the relationship between glamorous filmic art that challenged the audiences of its day – including risqué literature readings, scene-setting live music and anecdotes about West’s life and times along with secret, banned and scandalous tales from authors such as Dorothy Parker, D H Lawrence and Mae herself.

Then enjoy a vintage film featuring this icon of the silver screen. The film will be subtitled for the hard of hearing.

‘Scary Little Girls prove once again that they are versatile, warm, funny and talented – and Rebecca Mordan was born for cabaret!’  Sheila Vanloo, Cornish Guardian

Booking essential! Tickets £6.

Light refreshments included in ticket price plus pay bar.

Telephone 01579 340307 or in person at Liskerrett Community Centre.
