We are always looking for people who can help us take our work further. We want to run more Educational workshops in Schools, we want to support more innovative new writing and theatre projects. We want to showcase the work of more of our brilliant Affiliate and Associate Artists. To do this we need your help, in one or more of the following ways:
Filthy lucre
We always need money! It’s sad but true: the buck stops with, well, the buck. Even the smallest financial donations can make an enormous difference to the work we can do.
Give a little time
We are constantly on the lookout for people who can devote some of their valuable time, skill and energy to administration of the company – whether regularly, occasionally, or even as a one-off. You can make a huge difference to both our arts and our community projects – indeed, much of our fundraising, financial structuring, book-keeping, project planning, documenting, contacting, researching and development is done by volunteers. If you can support us in this area, you would have our eternal gratitude (and comps to future shows!).
The business end
Perhaps you work for a company that would be interested in sponsoring either our artistic or our community work?
Community Work includes work for schools and youth organisations in areas such as:
Self Esteem
Anti-bullying
Health and Nutrition
Transition
Literacy
Recent Artistic Projects include:
Support and development of new writing, especially by women.
Sonnet Walks, which we would like to develop to encompass other areas of historical and artistic interest.
Producing high quality Theatrical work - including our latest show 'The Riot Showgrrrlz Club' at the Gilded Balloon during this year's Edinburgh Festival!
We have support-in-kind relationships with a number of businesses, and are able to offer public image and speaking training, customer relations, coaching and team-building workshops to our sponsors. We have also provided singers, actors and musicians for a variety of corporate events. If you’d like to discuss sponsorship, a support-in-kind relationship or any other opportunity, please get in touch via sponsorship@scarylittlegirls.co.uk. We would be delighted to benefit from your corporate conscience!
