Since beginning her career at the National Youth Theatre
in 1998, Alexie has completed a Diploma in Technical Theatre
at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, where she specialised
in Prop Making and Scenic Painting.
Since then she has worked in various art departments in
television and theatre both here and abroad, including the
‘Killing Hitler’ - Docu. Drama for Diverse Productions,
and building and designing sets for the ‘Natyaanan’
Theatre Co. in Calcutta, India.
Whilst studying Theatre Design at Central St.Martins College
of Art and Design in London, Alexie has also been working
with the ‘Attic Action’ Children’s’
Theatre group in Wimbledon, designing ‘Romeo and Juliet’,
dressing a Christmas Cabaret at Madam Jojo’s nightclub
in Soho and more recently, Designing the Operetta ‘Mozart
and Salieri’ for Second Movement in the Grovesnor
Chapel in Mayfair.
