Chipping Norton
Following the huge success of last year's Chipping Norton Sonnet Walks, Scary Little Girls are thrilled to have been asked back by The Theatre Chipping Norton to create one of our Living Word Walks in the town.
We are now in the process of creating intimate performances out of the best in poetry, prose and music from and about Oxfordshire for walkers to experience in the stunning little market town of Chipping Norton as they follow our special written guides.
We will be aiming to keep the sense of the unique, the unexpected and the magical that audiences gave us such great feedback about last year and will be challenging ourselves to take walkers off the beaten track as well as finding ways to look at the familiar with new eyes.
Plus this year we will be running the walks for an extended period which includes two torch-lit evenings as well as our usual day time events - we can't wait!
Venue: The Theatre Chipping Norton, 2 Spring Street, Chipping Norton, OX7 5NL
Dates: Thursday 18th, Friday 19th, Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st of August 2011
Times: Thursday and Friday walks start at 6pm and then continue every fifteen minutes from 6.15pm, 6.30pm, 6.45pm, 7pm, 7.15pm, 7.30pm, 7.45pm, 8pm and 8.15pm
Saturday and Sunday walks start at 12noon and then continue every fifteen minutes from 12.15pm, 12.30pm, 12.45pm, 1pm, 1.15pm, 1.30pm, 1.45pm, 2pm and 2.15pm
Please dress for all weathers and bring footwear you can explore in! Walks start from The Theatre Chipping Norton and take approximately 90 minutes.
