The Trust workshops

In these workshops Trust, Status and Positive Body Contact games are used to outline the difference between Assertive, Aggressive and Passive behaviour. The workshops allow participants to experience earning someone's trust, exercising responsibility when working with someone who is more vulnerable than them and the sense of self-worth awarded by a group when supportive, assertive behaviour is exhibited. This session meets Key Stage 2 Teaching Requirements in the following ways:

Citizenship, Taking Part, Citizenship, Taking Part
Enabling children to show their understanding of effective listening through increased awareness of body language; to offer ideas in a group, and agree on a simple response as a group.
